Characters

The First Generation follows ordinary people forced to become humanity’s earliest soldiers, researchers, builders, and witnesses in a world whose rules are still being discovered.

They do not begin with classes, destinies, or complete explanations. Their identities emerge through repeated choices: who they protect, what they build, which risks they accept, and what they do when every available plan fails.

Character Principles

  • Competence does not eliminate fear, injury, uncertainty, or mistakes.
  • Skills and Professions should grow from demonstrated behavior rather than replace personality.
  • Relationships are earned on the page and must develop at the pace established by the manuscript.
  • Each character should remain recognizable through wording, rhythm, priorities, and decisions.
  • Reader knowledge, character knowledge, and development lore are separate.
  • Planned levels, Skills, equipment, and roles are not current canon until revealed in the manuscript.

The profiles in this section are development records. The manuscript and continuity ledgers control the characters’ current state.

The Ravens are Area 77’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance element, introduced in Chapter 41 under Captain Ethan Harper. During Operation Stag Hunt they provide continuous drone, body-camera, communications, and tactical-picture support. Harper is the only named member; the rest of the team’s roster, Levels, Skills, and history remain unstated.

Voice Guide

T speaks in commands, decisions, and direct questions. Joker talks through danger and often carries a joke farther than good judgment recommends. Clive becomes most animated when materials, tools, or construction give him a problem he can solve. Darius speaks only when the observation matters. Jose remains calm and understated. Gabriel asks questions, tests assumptions, and searches for patterns. Sophia distinguishes evidence from speculation. Luna becomes calm and direct when someone is injured. Reyes is sharp, observant, and less playful than Joker.

Their voices should overlap where friendship or shared experience makes that natural, but they should never become interchangeable.
