Reyes is a muscular, compact Latina woman of Colombian descent with an unmistakable battlefield presence. Years of military service have given her an athletic, powerful build rather than a traditionally graceful one. She moves with confidence and purpose, as if every step is deliberate.
Her dark hair is usually tied into a practical bun, though loose strands rarely stay contained during operations. Her brown eyes constantly scan her surroundings, measuring distances, exits, and threats without conscious effort.
Black-and-gray tattoos cover much of her arms, extend across her shoulders, and continue up the side of her neck. Some commemorate deployments, others fallen comrades, and a few have meanings she refuses to explain.
Her face carries small scars earned over years of combat rather than dramatic wounds. She wears them without pride or shame—they simply exist.
Personality
Reyes is blunt, intimidating, and fiercely confident.
She has little patience for excuses, indecision, or people who create unnecessary problems. Her temper is well known throughout the unit, and when she loses it, everyone nearby notices.
Despite her sharp edges, Reyes possesses an unwavering sense of responsibility toward those under her command. She demands excellence because she has witnessed the cost of mediocrity too many times.
She rarely offers praise, but when she does, people know they have earned it.

Reyes is the Valkyries’ lieutenant and senior tactical operator. Sophia remains the team lead.

Reyes is one of the most experienced members of the Valkyries.
Planned progression includes Level 7, the Profession Tactical Leader, and the Skill Command Presence. None should be treated as current Book 1 state until confirmed in the manuscript.
